CINEMATOGRAPHER
Definition: A cinematographer is a person responsible for the visual look of a motion picture. They are responsible for capturing the images, lighting, and framing of a shot, as well as selecting the camera and lenses used. They also collaborate with the director and other members of the production team to ensure that the visual goals of the project are achieved.
I absolutely love being a cinematographer. I love being able to bring stories to life through visual mediums. All the projects featured on this page have been shot, edited, and color graded by me. Come and watch these projects and the stories told through them!
PROJECTS
Medicine Tree Ranch
Medicine Tree Ranch is an ongoing project/ client that Shailey and I have been working on. It has been super fun to get to know the Medicine Tree team and work with them.
They run an amazing ranch, growing their own hay, and are planning on selling their meat in early 2024.
We have been building up their website, social media, and content needs and helping them prepare for when they start selling.
Mob Boss
This was a super fun TV commercial project for Solgen Power. Erik, Greg, and I were able to get this project filmed in a single day and out on the air in less than two weeks.
The project for this commercial was to move into "Upper Funnel" marketing, aka more branding and less direct advertisements.
Achieve the Impossible
This was another project for Solgen Power that Erik, Greg, and I were able to do for their QTR 2 SWAG drop. The goal of this project was to hype up their QTR 2 theme and internal space-themed shirt.
We had two days to shoot this, both nights were nearly 0 degrees Fahrenheit and required extreme coordination from the team in order to get it done quickly and done right.
Having such a rich internal culture has always been important for Solgen and we tried to further enhance it with this project.
